1. 研究目的与意义(文献综述)

primary school is an important period to cultivate students' english learning habits and interests, which should lay a good foundation for their future english learning. compared with middle and high school students, the age and psychological characteristics of primary school students have an absolute advantage in learning english. this makes them have a strong desire for knowledge and great curiosity, higher imitation and memory ability and lower psychological pressure. however, the students in the senior grade of primary school happen to be in the stage of immature psychological development, so the personality of each student will produce certain differences, plus the influence of family factors and other aspects, students' learning level is not at the same level. but all these provide sufficient motivation for developing students' language potential. therefore, teachers' education mode and teaching level play an important role in primary education, which is the "classroom control" discussed in this paper.

so far, there have been a lot of studies on classroom control at home and abroad. in the 1950s, american scholar ned.flanders divided teachers' control of the classroom into direct and indirect control. first, direct control. for example, teachers put forward their own views and guide students' activities,thatisemphasizingteachers' authority. the other is indirect control, for example: teachers induce students to give opinions, encourage students to participate in teaching activities,thattend to be open-minded and democratic. he believes that indirect control is not necessarily the ideal way, and direct control does not have to be completely abandoned. the choice between these two approaches depends on the student's age and class background. flexible use of different control methods is an important condition for teaching success.

in 1959 ,canadian scholar goffman.e analyzed how people create an impression in the mind of others in the process of interaction, and proposed the theory of impression management. some of the qualities in the theory are also applicable to the classroom control of teachers. according to his theory, teachers should learn "self-control" and "self-management", try to achieve the front and back of the same, pay close attention to the interaction of students to modify their own behavior.

2. 研究的基本内容与方案

This paper is divided into four parts. In the first part, I will list the views and analysis of domestic and foreign scholars on classroom control in primary school English classes. The second part is to explore the current situation of English classroom control in primary schools in China, to study teachers' interaction mode and knowledge expansion content in the actual classroom, students' reaction and classroom behavior, and so on. The third part is a case study based on my own practical experience and investigation, aiming to analyze the different choices of class control in primary school English classes of different grades. The case analysis will focus on the fourth and fifth grades of primary schools, representing the middle and upper grades of primary schools respectively. The content of this section includes three parts: the differences between the extracurricular activities of the two grades; Selection of classroom activities; Differences in students' psychological incentive mechanism. From these three parts to specifically study the differences in English classroom control in senior primary schools, thus leading to the last part: conclusion. In the conclusion part, the reasons for such differences will be discussed, the influencing factors will be studied and corresponding solutions will be provided.
