foroneside,comedyplaysanimportantroleinenter-tainingforpeople,agoodcomedywithanexcellentimpliedmeaningcanattractpeopletoacceptitandwatchit,anditshumorousspiritcanbefullydisplayedandpassedtotheaudiencefromallovertheworld,foranother,asfortheamericanhumor,someforeignersmayhavedifficultywhereisthelaughstickingandcannotstandwonderinghowitisdisplayedthoroughlyandacceptedgraduallybypeoplefromallcornersoftheworld.thecultureinformationinafilmcanpromotethespreadofculture.therefore,theunderstandingofforeigncomediesareveryimportant.sometimestheyareaffectedbythefactorsofsociety,culture,language,audience’sflavor,andsoon.whatmethodsweusetotranslatethemalsobecomesakeypoint.inthepaperiwilltakethecomediesofkimcarryforexampletodiscussandanalyzewhatitissaidamericanhumor.
