Introduction: The topic that I will be working on mainly to design, Structural design of Electro hydrodynamic jet 3d printer. Electro hydrodynamic (EHD) jet printing, a type of inkjet technology, can generate very fine ink droplets by applying an electric field between the substrate and the nozzle; therefore, it is a promising candidate for high-resolution direct printing, which is essential in the manufacturing of various devices.Electro hydrodynamic jet 3d printing is a high resolution printing technology where the printed liquid is driven by an electric field. Exposure to an electric field causes mobile ions in a polarizable liquid to accumulate at the liquid surface. It has shown outstanding advantages and potential in terms of cost, efficiency, controllability and printing area. It also has good compatibility (widely applicable materials and high viscosity liquids), low cost Simple structure and high resolution. Herein, in this project, we should first study the injection mechanism and working principle of EHD printing carefully. Then try to design the printer structure. Such as the shape, dimensions, XYZ axis and so on. Using the simulation software to build structure of the printer and determine the final plan after various simulation and analysis. or making animation video which is cleared by how to work electro hydrodynamic jet 3d printer. This topic requires we understand the current research results of current volume dynamic jet 3D printing by consulting the papers. Determine the printer design scheme, Compare various schemes through computer simulation and mechanical analysis.A 3D printer essentially works by extruding molten plastic through a tiny nozzle that it moves around precisely under computer control. It prints one layer, waits for it to dry, and then prints the next layer on top. The plastic from which models are printed is obviously hugely important.printing process turns a whole object into thousands of tiny little slices, then makes it from the bottom-up, slice by slice. Those tiny layers stick together to form a solid object. Each layer can be very complex, meaning 3D printers can create moving parts like hinges and wheels as part of the same object. All 3d printer is based on the same basic principle to build up the parts: a digital model is molding by adding a layer 3d material at a time to a whole physical 3d object. This where the alternative term Additive Manufacturing comes from.3D printing is inexpensive prosthetics, creating spare parts, rapid prototyping, creating personalized items and manufacturing with minimum waste. The technology is useful and thanks to its widespread availability as well as further development will be even more useful in the future.Parts of 3D Printer: Extruders. Extruders are a crucial component in 3D printers. Print bed. A print bed is the part that the 3d printed object rests on during the printing process. Hot Ends. A hot end is where the filament is melted then extruded through a nozzle. Filament. Layer height. Slicer Infill. Skirts and Brims.Research literature review:There are plenty of research and literature of this topic. The best way to improve of this project need to review them as much as I can. I concern that obtain these formulations and ideas will help me finish my project. So I would like to show you few Researches and literatures work here.electrohydrodynamic (EHD) printing, which can overcome the standoff height limitation in the EHD printing process, and improve printing capability for 3D structures. Standoff height in the EHD printing will affect printing processes and limit the height of the printed structure when the ground electrode is placed under the substrate. Authors of [3]university of California work on Ejet printing for integrating hydrogels into MEMS sensors This project used e-jet printing to integrate hydrogels onto fully suspended MEMS resonant sensor. The sensors were used to measure elastic and viscous properties of nomogram-scale samples of poly ethylene glycol diacrylate (PEGDA) hydrogels (MW 575 g mol1). The hydrogel mechanical properties were then modeled and used to measure the long-term mass and mechanical properties of growing cells. Electrohydrodynamic 3D printer has had a significant impact to develop modern science. Electro hydrodynamic printer mainly use in micro and Nano-technology. Electrohydrodynamic jet printing is a high resolution printing technology where the printed liquid is driven by an electric field. EHD phenomenon has been known for more than a century, while EHD technology was just applied as a high-resolution additive manufacturing method a decade ago. EHD inkjet printing utilizes a unique cone-jet phenomenon to obtain a thin liquid jet without nozzle blockage as commonly experienced by conventional inkjet printing. It is necessary to keep cone-jet in stable operating regime to achieve the goal of high resolution. Many functional materials have been directly deposited on a variety of substrates by EHD deposition in different industrial areas, such as rapid prototyping, electronics, and biotechnology. However, low production rate of EHD inkjet printing is a main drawback that impedes widespread applications. This is, especially, a concern when small diameter jets are required for high-resolution printing. Although a multi nozzle printing head is considered as a remedy to this problem, unstable jets may appear in this circumstance because of an asymmetric electric field arising from neighboring nozzles. Researchers developed different methods to alleviate the interaction of adjacent.[1] VERNER, Igor; MERKSAMER, Amir. Digital design and 3D printing in technology teacher education.
