1.1 the research background
in recent years, the rapid development of electric vehicles, whether from the quantity or from the quality of the development, its trend is likely to surpass the fuel car. but the myth is that electric cars have only emerged in recent years. not really. electric cars have been around longer than most people think. back in 1834, thomas davenport built the first electric car powered by a dc motor in the united states. the first electric car with a lead-acid battery was introduced in 1881, before the advent of petrol-powered cars. moreover, the early gas-powered cars adopted the technology of external combustion engine, which was not only noisy but also smoky. so they were not as popular as the pure electric cars at that time. in the early 20th century, the advent of the internal combustion engine drove the all-electric car out of the market. in the 1960s, resource issues surfaced and the oil crisis brought the all-electric vehicle back into focus. it can be predicted that in the future, cars will be driven by electric, mechanical and control technologies, and electric vehicles will become the mainstream means of transportation [1].
