the steering system is the basic component of the whole vehicle system, which ensures that the vehicle is able to run in a way that meets the driver's needs. the steering system also ensure that when the vehicle is accidentally impacted by the road and deviates from the driving direction by accident, it can cooperate with the driving system to keep the vehicle running stably. therefore, the performance of the steering system directly affects the handling stability and comfort of the vehicle, and it is also the key assembly of the active safety of the vehicle. especially in today's high-speed vehicles, non professional drivers and intensive traffic flow, it plays an important role in ensuring the safe driving of vehicles, reducing traffic accidents, protecting the personal safety of drivers and improving the working conditions of drivers. hence, it is necessary to design a proper steering system for a vehicle. the power steering system is a device to reduce the operating force of the driver's action on the steering wheel and generate steering assistance force by using external power. on the basis of the traditional mechanical steering system, according to the torque signal on the steering wheel and the driving speed signal of the car, the electronic control device makes the motor generate the corresponding size and direction of the auxiliary power to assist the driver in steering operation.
