(1)the finite element model of knuckle is established. the suspension model of double fork arm is measured in the catia, and the parameters of suspension kinematics (hard point coordinates, etc.), dynamics (centroid, moment of inertia) and so on are obtained. the multi-body dynamics model of double fork arm suspension is established in the adams/car. at the same time, according to the relevant parameters of the whole vehicle, three typical working conditions are selected for static load simulation, and the calculated grounding force is taken as input to obtain the load at the key hard points of the steering knuckle. by using the inertial release method, the finite element simulation is carried out in the ansys to obtain the strength analysis results.

(2) structural topology optimization of knuckle. the key problems of topology optimization are briefly described, the method of structural topology optimization modeling of knuckle is analyzed and introduced in detail, the main ideas and steps of knuckle optimization design are worked out, the multi-objective topology optimization of knuckle is carried out, the are analyzed after topology optimization, and some feasible suggestions for improving knuckle stress concentration are put forward..
