2. 研究的基本内容、问题解决措施及方案

During the study, I have read the novel again and again carefully in order to have a better understanding of the characters, and have taken some notes in analyzing the experiences and characters of Tess. Internet, library, journals also contribute a lot to my research. By collecting and analyzing research materials, the trends of Tess of the dUrbervilles will be learnt. Besides, the knowledge of Thomas Hardy will help me understand more about his works and this novel especially. By digging into the novel, the frame of this thesis will be worked out. In the first part of the thesis, it will introduce the purpose and significance of the study; the second part is literature review; the third part is the most important part which will analyze Tesss tragedy in the ecofeminist perspective; the last part is going to draw a conclusion. In support of my research findings, I have to find enough evidence. In addition, my supervisor has given me a lot of help and support.
